Cellulite is caused primarily by vascular changes that effect superficial fat under the skin’s surface. These changes most often stem from poor circulation in the tissues leading to poor drainage of toxins and fluids in blood, fat, connective tissues and lymph. The decrease in circulation and removal of toxins from the tissues weaken collagen fibers in the outer skin cells resulting in fat accumulations (cellulite).

 

Women are more prone to cellulite than men because their fat structure is different and has a greater capacity to hold more fat. Women also have more fat-storage receptors and are more effected by hormonal changes which play a critical role in blood flow and drainage from fat, connective tissue and lymphatics.

 

Our ‘Trim and Tone’ products work first by stimulating subcutaneous circulation and thermogenesis (heat creation). These actions encourage removal of fats, congestion and toxins. Next, as toxins are released, antioxidants in the products absorbed through the skin, are available to help neutralize potentially damaging effects of the circulating toxins. Simultaneously, other plant actives are present to stimulate fat-burning enzymes and help prevent the formation of new fat cells.
